Add the chopped pecans to a dry skillet over a low/medium heat. Toast gently for 4-5 minutes until fragrant, stirring often.
Step 2
Transfer the toasted pecans to a food processor along with the salt.
Step 3
Blend until semi smooth. You will need to scrape down the food processor at intervals and allow it to cool if it starts to get hot. Store in a clean sealable jar in the fridge.
