Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, toss together the ground beef with the olive oil in an iron skillet (or oven-safe skillet) over medium heat. Stir in the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic, italian seasoning, and oregano. Cook the beef until it is cooked through and just beginning to crisp.

Turn the heat down to low and stir in the crushed tomatoes. Cook the skillet for 1-2 minutes before adding the spinach into the skillet. Stir the ingredients until the spinach gets coated in the oil and wilts halfway.
Step 3
Remove the skillet from the heat. Dollop the ricotta cheese over the skillet followed by a layer of parmesan cheese. Place the skillet in the oven and cook for 5 minutes. You may cook longer to give your parmesan cheese a golden crust, at your discretion.
