Pat raw chicken breast dry with a paper towel, then cut it into strips or tenders. Make sure the tenders are an even thickness and cut off any small ends that might burn in the air fryer. Add all the chicken strips to a large mixing bowl.
Step 2
Add olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the mixing bowl. Use a pair of tongs to fold the chicken strips over to become coated in the oil and spices. Meanwhile, turn on your air fryer to preheat to 350 F (180 C).
Step 3
Fill a clean plate with the grated parmesan cheese. Use your tongs to lift each chicken tender one by one and coat them in the parmesan cheese. Make sure the chicken strips are fully coated before gently shaking off any excess parmesan and placing them on an air fryer tray.
Step 4
Cook the chicken strips in the air fryer for 15 minutes or until golden and crispy on the outside. You can use a thermometer to check the internal temperature of the thickest chicken strips which should be at least 165 F (80). Let the chicken strips cool for just a few minutes before enjoying.
