Add the raspberries to a food processor along with the maple-flavored syrup and lime juice. At this point, you may add your alternative sweetener if desired. Blend well to combine until the raspberries are completely puréed and you have a thick syrup consistency.

Select two cocktail glasses of your choice. Pass the raspberry purée through a fine-mesh sieve to separate any seeds. Divide the raspberry syrup between the two serving glasses.

Roughly tear the fresh mint. Divide the mint evenly between the two glasses. Mix gently to combine.
Step 4
Divide the fizzy water evenly between the two glasses. Stir gently, blending the syrup and mint with the water. Serve with ice as required.
