Cook your strips of bacon to a crisp on both sides (not burnt). Keep the strips as straight as possible so they don’t shrink and wrinkle up. Set the cooked bacon aside to cool.

In a bowl, mash the avocado with the olive oil, lime juice, diced onion, salt, and cilantro. You can simply use a fork to mash to your liking.

Set the guacamole in a serving dish. Cut each strip of bacon into 4 pieces and arrange them in the guacamole for dipping.
