Step 1

To a saucepan over medium heat, whisk 1 cup of heavy cream and the powdered sweetener until combined. Bring to a simmer, then drop the heat to low. Let the mixture simmer for 20 -25 until reduced by half, set aside to cool.

To a bowl, add the remaining heavy cream and vanilla extract. Beat using a hand mixer until it reaches stiff peaks. Set the bowl aside.

Step 3

Once the condensed milk has cooled, pour it into the whipped heavy cream. Fold to combine. Pour the ice cream mixture into a container

Step 4

Secure with a lid and place in the freezer. For the first 2 hours, take the ice cream out of the freezer every 30 minutes, and whisk.

Step 5

The ice cream will take around 4 hours in total to set. Take it out of the freezer, scoop, and serve immediately. If it is too hard, let it thaw on the counter for 10 minutes before serving.
