Preheat an oven to 375 degrees. Rinse and slice approximately 10 whole mushrooms into halves (stems and all). Additionally, slice 7 strips of bacon into ⅓ pieces (making 21 pieces of bacon total). You may be left with 1 or 2 extra pieces of bacon, depending on how many mushroom halves you have.
Step 2
Simply wrap 1 piece of bacon around each mushroom halve, making sure to tuck the edges of bacon under the mushrooms as you place them on a well seasoned sheet tray (or one lined with parchment paper).
Step 3
Bake the tray for 25-30 minutes, until the bacon is crispy. There may be excess grease, so you can rest the cooked mushrooms on a paper towel before serving to soak it up.
