They’re firm enough to cook to a nice crisp, so the edges give you a little crunch and the inside of the vegetable is tender. You only need 4 ingredients to cook your asparagus, so this is an easy recipe!Jessica L.
How to Make It
Step 1
Cut both ends off the asparagus, and place all the stalks in a large, shallow skillet. Cover the asparagus with water, and cook the asparagus over medium heat for approx. 7 minutes – until the asparagus is al dente.
Step 2
Drain the water and transfer the asparagus to a cutting board. Chop the cooled asparagus into small pieces.
Step 3
Next, melt the butter in the same skillet over medium-low heat. Toss in the asparagus, salt and pepper.
Step 4
Let the asparagus cook until the sides begin to brown. Then, stir in the worcestershire and give the ingredients a gentle toss. Continue cooking until the asparagus is browned and crispy. Serve hot!
