This quick and easy fried rice is packed with flavor from tender mushrooms, scallions, garlic, tangy tamari sauce and smoky sesame oil.This is a great option for a quick and easy midweek

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over a medium heat and add the ground beef, cooking until browned all over.

Step 2

Thinly slice the mushrooms, garlic and scallions and add to the pan with the browned beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes to soften. Add the cauliflower rice and stir well to combine.

Step 3

Make a well in the middle of the beef mixture. Beat the egg and pour into the well. Leave to settle for a moment then use a wooden spoon to scramble into the stir fry until just cooked through.

Step 4

Drizzle over the tamari sauce and sesame oil and stir well to combine. Scatter with fresh chopped cilantro to serve.

  • Scallions – 2 small – 3″ long
  • Mushrooms – 2 medium
  • Sesame Oil – 1-½ teaspoon
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Tamari Sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Raw Egg – 1 medium
  • Olive Oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro – 1 tablespoon
  • Cauliflower Rice – 1 cup
