Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device’s app store, not through the KetoDieting app itself.

  • iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions, find KetoDieting, and tap Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Open the Google Play Store > tap your profile icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions, find KetoDieting, and tap Cancel.

Make sure to cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date to avoid being charged. Your Pro access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account directly within the app:

  1. Open KetoDieting and go to Settings
  2. Tap Account
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm the deletion

This will permanently delete your account and all associated data (food logs, weight history, fasting records, mood entries, etc.) within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

Alternatively, email us at support@ketodieting.co.uk with your request and we will process the deletion manually.

Why isn’t ASKETO AI responding?

If ASKETO isn’t responding, try the following:

  • Check your internet connection — ASKETO requires an active connection to work
  • Close and reopen the app, then try again
  • Make sure you have an active Pro subscription (ASKETO is a Pro feature)
  • If the issue persists, our servers may be temporarily busy — please try again in a few minutes

If ASKETO still isn’t working after trying the above, please contact us at support@ketodieting.co.uk with details of the issue and your device type.

How do I track net carbs vs total carbs?

KetoDieting supports both net carbs and total carbs tracking. To switch between them:

  1. Go to Settings in the app
  2. Tap Nutrition Preferences (or Macro Settings)
  3. Toggle between Net Carbs and Total Carbs

Net carbs = Total carbs minus dietary fibre (and sugar alcohols where applicable). This is the most common method used in keto dieting.

The app is in English — how do I change the language?

KetoDieting supports 12 languages, including Urdu, Arabic, and others. The app will typically follow your device’s language settings automatically.

To change the language manually:

  • iPhone/iPad: Go to your device Settings > General > Language & Region and set your preferred language. Then reopen KetoDieting.
  • Android: Go to Settings > General Management > Language & Input, change your language, and reopen the app.

If your language isn’t displaying correctly, please contact us at support@ketodieting.co.uk and let us know which language you’d like to use.

How do I export my data?

You can export your KetoDieting data from within the app:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Export Data
  3. Choose your preferred format (CSV or PDF, where available)
  4. Your data will be shared via your device’s standard share sheet

Exported data includes your food logs, macro history, weight entries, and fasting records. If you’re having trouble exporting, please get in touch and we can help.

I forgot my password — how do I reset it?

If you signed up with your email address:

  1. On the login screen, tap Forgot Password?
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your inbox for a password reset link (also check your spam/junk folder)
  4. Click the link and set a new password

If you signed in with Google, you don’t have a separate KetoDieting password — just tap Sign in with Google on the login screen.
